In the heart of Tennessee, you’ll find Farmapeutic, LLC. I am Cameron Chaparro and, along with my wife and children, I founded Farmapeutic with the dream of creating an environment where I can teach my children about the quintessential American values of hard work, perseverance, and entrepreneurial spirit – all while we learn the ropes of running and growing a farmstead.
My Philosophy: It’s in the Name
It’s the philosophy around which the entire business is built: the therapeutic benefits of being in nature and, for our family, doing it on our farm where we’ll cultivate resilient, responsible children. As a man raising my family in these trying times, I take immense pride in instilling values that have stood the test of time, from one generation to the next, like gratitude, humility, and resiliency.
Looking to the Future: A Message from the CEO
As I think about the future of Farmapeutic, I see us growing into more than just a farm but a destination where you experience hands-on homesteading and experience the relaxation that comes with a simpler life.
We’ll offer opportunities for homeschooling families to connect with one another online and in-person through our homeschooling community. The homeschooling community is exclusively for families who (like us) value what it means to be an American and want their children to learn that. We’re building a library of resources, classes on anything from reading and computer programming to beekeeping and gardening. As we grow, we’ll also provide a nation-wide umbrella school for community members.
Think of a place for family reunions where parents can pass down timeless wisdom to their children and kids can learn practical skills that will make them into adults that meaningfully contribute to society. Consider a venue for corporate retreats where true team building can occur as the team breaks away from the monotony of an office setting and is exposed to the need for help from others in a more hands-on way.
If a longer-term stay isn’t right for you just yet, join us for your rustic wedding, a day camp for the whole family, or a corporate team-building retreat.
During your visit, you can participate in any number of farm activities like gathering eggs in the morning for breakfast to milking the goats to help make butter or soap all the way to beekeeping workshops, candle making, and more – all bringing you closer to nature.
Looking further, we envision expanding to bring you Tennessee-grown coffee, vanilla, and cacao to name a few.
